I found an easier way to do this: You can change high to very high with one quick setting. Just do this: First go here: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config Open up the file named "highspec.cfg" in notepad And simply change the 3 to a 4. Now every high is actually very high, but if you want to tweak everything precisely, then you can read below. But if you simply want everything on very high, just do what I stated above. This is our little secret. ^_^, and if you feel like this helped you out. I would appreciate a small donation. You can simply click the donate button on the right.
Unlock Direct X 10 in crysis with Windows XP and direct x 9 card. Don't yell at me until you see this. I'm sure some things don't work, but it has been stated that some direct x 10 features will work with any kind of card, its just the matter of maintaining a proper frame rate. First, go here: C:\Program\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config\CVarGroups Its a rough design, but I hope it helps you. Simply just save the file, and then do it for all the other files if you want everything in direct x 10. Then start crysis, and make sure everything is set to high, because since you changed [3], that means its gonna be looking under high for settings. And here are some comparison screenshots if you don't believe me (why wouldn't you?) :
