Crysis is the most advanced game to date, besides the graphics, the physics are amazing. During an intense firefight, you will notice trees falling, buildings flying, explosions everywhere, etc. But there is one problem, once an enemy dies, its body just stays there, if you throw something at it, it doesn't react, if you try to blow it up, it doesn't move at all. Even if you shoot it, no blood sprays like normal.

However, I have a solution. This is a simple mod that adds the rag doll effects and blood decals to the dead bodies. The installation can be a little complicated, so I will tell you what to do, step by step.

Of course, you must first download the file, simply click here

If you don't have winrar, you are going to need it for the next steps. First unzip the file that you just downloaded, and we are going to be putting the file "BasicActor.lua" into the gamedata.pak archive. This is why you need winrar.

First navigate to your Crysis/Game folder, mine is:  C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game

You should see a gamedata.pak file, open it with winrar, as shown below. If it isn't under recommended programs, looked under other programs. You should have no problem finding it if you have winrar installed.

Once it is open in winrar, simply navigate to scripts>Entities>actor

This click "add" and find the basicactor.lua file. Once you add it, you will be all set. Simply start Crysis, and enjoy the ultimate realism.
